Welcome to Kaapuori Children’s Resource Foundation

Munira Mahama is the founder and director for Kaapuori Children's Resource Foundation (KCRF), a non-governmental organization established in 2015, dedicated to providing person centered support and resources for children with intellectual disabilities in classroom settings.

Our mission is to create safe, inclusive environments that empower vulnerable youth and girls in schools and communities, enhancing their literacy, academic performance, confidence, and leadership skills through intercontinental pen pal program.  

We provide support for school age from ages 4 -14 years   and Youth from 15 to 24 years but not limited to any children in need of our support. The founder motivation for creating KCRF, is Driven by personal experiences and a deep understanding of intellectual disabilities  and mental health and wellness. 

KCRF recognizes the critical need to address the growing epidemic of mental health issues among teenagers and youth. Initially focused on the Northern region of Ghana, KCRF has expanded its services to the Southern and Middle Belt regions, leveraging momentum from our founder’s international experience and expertise.
